One of the deadliest finishers in the Premier League, the Englishman has been tipped for a move to greener pastures.

Jamie Vardy has laughed off suggestions he could leave Leicester City insisting he intends to stay at the club “until the end.”

34-year-old Vardy is not getting any younger, but he’s not showing any signs of slowing down either.

The striker found the back of the net 17 times across the Premier League and Europa League last term and has already opened his goalscoring account in the new season.

A switch to one of the ‘big six’ clubs has been mooted for the No. 9, with interest reported from Manchester United and Liverpool – but it seems the interest isn’t mutual.

“Let me ask a dumb question. You still play for Leicester, right?” Comedian Jimmy Carr asked Vardy on the latest episode of ‘A League of Their Own‘.

After Vardy’s obvious response, Carr continued: “If you got an offer from one of the big boy clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, would you go? ‘Or would you stay there (Leicester) until the end [of your career]?

“No. I’d stay there until the end,” Vardy replied emphatically.

The Leicester striker’s response elicited a loud round of applause from the studio audience.

“You don’t get that anymore, do you?’ an impressed Carr stated.
