Prior to Chelsea’s Champions League outing in Sweden, Thomas Tuchel provided an injury update on Christian Pulisic.
Christian Pulisic has been quite unlucky with his fitness during the past year and has been left stranded on the sidelines for Chelsea.
Apparently, the 23-year-old has not appeared for the Blues since August 14, going away from contention with an ankle issue sustained during international duty in September.
However, ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League trip to Sweden, the USMNT star has been included in the squad by head coach, Thomas Tuchel.
Pulisic will be part of the team as the Londoners visit Malmo in the next round of the European competition on Tuesday night.
During a press conference, the German boss told of the striker: “Christian Pulisic is back. And back in the squad for tomorrow.”
Unluckily, the American speedster has only featured for 82 minutes during this footballing season in the Premier League. He also played in a UEFA Super Cup encounter with Villareal.
