Jorginho set for Chelsea renewal

Chelsea are set to offer Jorginho a new and improved deal. The club’s decision is driven by the fact that the Italian international decided to stay at Stamford Bridge despite interest from across London, and they want to honor his loyalty with a contract extension. [Football London]

Arsenal make U-turn on Saliba loan decision.

Arsenal have decided to keep hold of William Saliba until at least January. The Gunners initially intended to send the 19-year old center-back away on loan for some first-team experience, but a temporary transfer could not take place in time with any foreign clubs.

However, they now want to have Saliba in their squad despite the availability of an option to loan him to an EFL club. [The Athletic]

Man United lining up Camavinga move.

Manchester United have ‘put in place the mechanism’ to land Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga. The club will push to land the highly-talented prospect if Paul Pogba decides to quit the club. The Red Devils are posing a ‘great threat’ to Real Madrid, viewed as the frontrunners to seal his transfer, in the race to sign the 17-year old.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also interested in Camavinga, who has a contract with Rennes until 2022. [AS via Sport Witness]

Kante keen on joining Real Madrid.

Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante wants away from the club amid increased tensions between him and Frank Lampard. The midfielder wanted to attend a friend’s wedding but was denied a request to miss training by his manager. 

The Frenchman has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, who are also admirers of the player. However, the La Liga champions are yet to make any formal approach. A move next summer for Kante, who has a contract until 2023, seems achievable. [Le Parisien]

Man City to go after Tagliafico in January.

Manchester City are planning to continue their pursuit of Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico in the next winter transfer window. The Sky Blues are eyeing the 28-year-old as they look to provide competition to Benjamin Mendy at the left-back spot.

 Tagliafico has less than two years left on his contract and is expected to cost in the range of €38 million (£35m). [Sun Sport]
