Chelsea eye a move for a rising Arsenal star

The Blues are reportedly among the list of clubs tailing Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli for a potential transfer.

The 21-year-old Brazilian has drawn admiring glances from a few of Arsenal’s Premier League rivals this season. His pace and directness have made him one of the most important players in Mikel Arteta’s squad. He is under contract at the Emirates until June 2024. [Daily Mail]

Manchester United will allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave in the January transfer window.

Despite Ronaldo’s desire for a summer exit, Erik ten Hag wouldn’t play ball. The manager wanted to include the 37-year-old striker in his plans for this season. PSG plan to begin Messi contract talks in January

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to begin talks with Lionel Messi over a new contract in January.

So far, there is no change in stance from Messi. The 35-year-old forward intends to focus on this season and, more importantly, the upcoming World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year. PSG understand his desire and plan to wait until January before approaching him over a new deal.

Saliba confirms Arsenal contract talks

Arsenal defender William Saliba has confirmed his representatives have spoken to the club about a new contract.
