The big Swede’s exploits have left him on the brink of a remarkable record, and Totti couldn’t be more impressed.

Francesco Totti believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic can prolong his football career until the age of 50 – even if he has to do it with one leg!

The 39-year-old striker is pulling out all the stops this season to spearhead AC Milan’s title charge. He’s already scored eight goals in just five outings to help the club lead the standings by a two-point margin from Sassuolo.

If Zlatan can continue this run of form until the end of the season, he may reach his 500th career club goal.

“Zlatan could play on one leg,” said Roma legend Totti as quoted by Goal. “He could go until he’s 50 at this level. Seeing you play is a pleasure. The physical strength, the technique, the plays that people never expect. I am proud to see you again on the pitch.”

Ibrahimovic has scored 476 goals in his club career to date, meaning the Swede will need another 24 goals to join the 500-goal club.

He’ll be gunning to add to that tally in Milan’s trip to third-placed side Napoli on Sunday night in the Serie A.
