Bale gave Tottenham a timely reminder of his quality over the weekend as his loan deal nears its end.
Tottenham interim coach Ryan Mason couldn’t comment on Gareth Bale’s future, but he believes a decision won’t be made until the end of the season.
The Welshman returned to Spurs last September in a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid and has shown promise recently, having scored eight goals in his last eight Premier League games.
A sublime hat-trick in Sunday’s 4-0 win over Sheffield United has all but confirmed Bale’s return to form.

As things stand, however, Bale expects to return to Real Madrid this summer once his loan deal ends.
“I think that is a conversation at the end of the season between Gareth, the club, and his parent club, our primary focus and priority should be the next game,” said Mason as per the Independent.
“It sounds a cliché, but it is true. I am glad he is happy, he should be because he has another match ball to add to the collection.
“It was an excellent performance as well.
“I think the decision at the moment and the priority is Gareth is ready to train, and he is happy in training. We have got another big week of training because we have got a massive game next weekend and hopefully we can have a happy Gareth next weekend.”
