Tottenham Hotspur stadium opened its doors to Ludogorets for the return of the UEFA Europa League. We have the player ratings for you.

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham had a chance to keep proving they are title contenders in all competitions against Ludogorets tonight. The UEFA Europa League came back after the recent international break with the Spurs as one of the Premier League’s best clubs right now.

In fact, they are top of the league after beating Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City last weekend. The complicated calendar pushed Jose to make decisions within his starting eleven. He decided to leave Harry Kane and Son Heung-min on the bench. Jose decided to give Gareth Bale a chance to start next to Carlos Vinicius, Dele Alli, and Lucas Moura.

During the first half, the Spurs proved they have one of the most competitive squads in Europe right now after their collective performance. Carlos Vinicius scored as a Tottenham player for the first time in his career, and he did it twice.

Harry Winks steals Vinicius’ show.

Even though Carlos Vinicius scored a brace already, the most impressive moment of the evening came during the second half from an unexpected source. Nearly twenty minutes after the break, Gareth Bale sprinted to the open space as Harry got a side throw.

The England international intended to assist Bale with a long-distance pass. However, he scored one of the most impressive goals of 2020 instead. If his intention to pass the ball wasn’t so obvious, Winks would’ve enjoyed this goal way more than he did.

He was just as surprised as we all were by what we witnessed. The fourth and final goal came through a collective effort in which Carlos Vinicius assisted Lucas Moura. It was another perfect night for the Spurs under Jose Mourinho with an easy day at the office.
