As we enter a new season, we need to talk about the Top 5 free agents we are getting ahead of the 2021 summer transfer window.
The 2021 summer transfer window will give us a good idea of the free agents who will certainly stay at the top of anyone’s list as possible arrivals. These stars end their contracts in June of next year and we all want to see what they decide with their future. It’s time to tell you everything we know about their current situations and which clubs are possible destinations for each of them.
5.- David Alaba
As he goes through a major disagreement over his contract, it is painfully clear that David Alaba will probably leave Bayern Munich next summer. It has already been reported that he might be looking to join Juventus for free next season. Other interested clubs are FC Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
4.- Sergio Ramos
The Real Madrid skipper ends his contract during the summer of 2021, he’s been a club symbol for nearly 15 years. Although there are doubts about his future at the club, Ramos is destined to reach a new agreement with Florentino Perez. Only a tragedy would prevent him from signing a new contract with Los Blancos. However, there is always the possibility of Sergio going to a new club in search for new adventures.
3.- Sergio Aguero
We just talked about the possibility that Sergio Ramos has to leave Manchester City next summer. Inter Milan could be one of his possible destinations but he still has to see if Messi becomes a Citizen. Pep Guardiola would like him to remain at the club but he will make the final call before the next transfer window.
2.- Paul Pogba
The French midfielder will be arguably one of the summer transfer window’s most coveted players. There’s a good chance of him going to Real Madrid but Florentino Perez doesn’t seem interested in signing him. Zidane is obviously crazy about getting his most desired wish from the last few years. However, Los Blancos’ top priority remains Kylian Mbappe. The only scenario in which Pogba could go to Madrid, is if he lowers his salary.
1.- Lionel Messi
After a turbulent summer at FC Barcelona, Leo Messi’s days might be numbered and two clubs emerge as his possible destinations. We all know how much Manchester City wants to sign Leo and the effort they would make to do it. However, PSG is also amongst the interested parties and Neymar could play a major role in this possible transfer. There is also the possibility of Messi making the decision to stay. In order for that to happen, a new board of directors must come to lead the club next season.
