Man City make new Haaland plan after release clause change
Manchester City have removed the £150 million transfer release clause in Erling Haaland’s contract.
The clause would’ve become active in 2024. It was specifically linked to Pep Guardiola’s future. However, once the manager signed a contract until 2025 last November, the clause was canceled. Man City now plan to open fresh contract talks with Haaland. [Athletic – subscription required]
Chelsea reject Luis Enrique
Luis Enrique is no longer in the running for the vacant managerial post at Chelsea.

Atalanta star Rasmus Hojlund has become the latest striker to make Bayern Munich’s shortlist.
The Bundesliga leaders intend to sign a new hitman in the upcoming transfer window. Several names are on their radar. Hojlund is one of them.
