Marsch-Southampton talks hit a breaking point
Talks between Jesse Marsch and Southampton appear to have broken down.
Marsch was in line to replace the sacked Nathan Jones as the new Saints manager. However, as the 49-year-old American wanted a long-term contract, talks have stalled. Southampton were only willing to offer him a short-term deal. They will now look for another replacement. First-team coach Ruben Selles will stay in charge for now. [BBC]
Barcelona keep tabs on Aubameyang
The LaLiga leaders are keeping tabs on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 33-year-old forward is out of favor at Chelsea and set to leave the club. While there was talk of a loan move to Los Angeles FC in the MLS, Aubameyang wants to stay in Europe.
