As we all wait for the other shoe to drop in the Harry Kane transfer saga, we have a new update that made everything take a wild turn.

Just last week, we all thought the Harry Kane transfer saga was about to end with Tottenham refusing to sell the English player. After missing a couple of the initial training sessions with Spurs, the player sent out a message apologizing for the misunderstanding. He explicitly said that he wouldn’t disrespect any of Tottenham Hotspur’s supporters. Harry recently returned to practice with apparently a newly found motivation.

But all that changed today again after he realized the team was traveling to play the UEFA Conference League rounds. To those who aren’t aware, this is a level below the UEFA Europa League. A tournament that proves Tottenham is not even amongst the Top 6 in English football. For Harry Kane’s prestigious career, this is something that simply cannot happen. It is obvious that the player of his stature needs to play the UEFA Champions League this season.

Kane misses his plane to Portugal.

As the Spurs were getting ready to make their trip to Portugal in order to face Pacos de Ferreira in the Conference League. Kane was nowhere to be seen earlier on Wednesday. Despite being names in the squad for the two-legged playoff that is happening this week, Kane made a unilateral decision. Even though we didn’t get any confirmation to why he is doing this, we all know the reality of the situation.

Harry Kane is waiting for Manchester City’s next offer with only 13 days left in the summer transfer window. Daniel Levy has refused to sit down and negotiate with the Citizens. However, a €170 million offer could possibly change his mind. The biggest rumor is that Pep Guardiola will try to convince the club to make such a massive offer in order to get the ideal Sergio Aguero replacement. We are approaching the decisive hours in the Harry Kane transfer saga. Where will the England captain play this season?
