Bale, De Bruyne, Pogba, and more stars made the cut as the 25 biggest wage earners in the Premier League for the 2020/21 campaign.
Kevin De Bruyne’s new lucrative contract at Manchester City has reportedly made him the third-highest paid player in the Premier League behind Gareth Bale and David de Gea.
The Belgian recently ended all doubts regarding his future by signing a two-year contract extension at City. He is now tied to the club until 2025 and his original weekly salary has increased from £300,000-a-week to a reported £320,833-a-week.
Despite moving above Raheem Sterling as City’s top earner, however, De Bruyne still falls some way short of being top dog in the Premier League.
According to Sportrac, the playmaker is the third best-paid player in the Premier League. Tottenham star Gareth Bale, on loan from Real Madrid, has unsurprisingly nicked top spot on £600,00-per-week, and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is a distant runner-up on £375,000-per-week.
