There is all to play for at San Siro, and Alex Telles has revealed how Manchester United will approach their Europa League clash with AC Milan.

Despite the need for caution and precision on Thursday night, Alex Telles says Manchester United will play against AC Milan without fear.

A 1-1 result at Old Trafford puts AC Milan slightly in the advantage going into the return leg. A crucial away goal for the Rossoneri means Manchester United must score at least once if they are to stand a chance of progressing.

In their quest for goals, they must also maintain defensive stability and try not to concede as well.

It could prove to be a tricky game, but Telles says the Manchester United players are all looking forward to it.

“Our main challenge will be to have a great game, put everything we’ve been doing in training into practice and continue doing everything we’ve been doing in recent games,” he said as per the club’s website.

“It won’t be easy, Milan are a great team and are playing very well. Our biggest challenge will be to work hard from start to finish, faithfully following Ole’s instructions and if we do this we’ll definitely leave Milan with a positive result.”

The stakes are high but Telles insists Manchester United will not ‘change’ from anything they have been doing.

“I think the qualities we need for the next game are the same ones we’ve been showing, no change from what we’ve been doing – play together, united, with each player knowing their role,” he continued.

“I think the most important thing is helping your team-mate out in whatever situation, if a team-mate is having a tough time we’ll lift them up so we can get a good result.”

“Also playing without fear, play the way we’ve always been playing, move the ball as quickly as possible and I’m sure we’ll get the goal.“
