As a plea for assistance with the war against the European Super League, Javier Tebas publicly requested FIFA’s involvement through Infantino.

Javier Tebas has been one of the most vocal individuals against the European Super League. An effort to create a new competition between only the elite football clubs in Europe that could effectively kill the minor squads. Something to which most of the clubs in the world oppose but the wealthy institutions definitely want. In Spain, we have FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid as part of this league.

England would have the biggest contingent with Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, and possibly Leicester City. Germany only has Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. France only has PSG and AS Monaco. Italy would have AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Napoli. Just by looking at the players in this potential league, it’s easy to see why the majority is opposing.

Javier Tebas wants Infantino to get more involved.

During a recent Soccerex Connected online conference picked up by the Daily Mail, Javier Tebas revealed information about Gianni Infantino’s involvement. La Liga president revealed there is a chance that FIFA’s president attended meetings to support this project: “I have more doubts about the president of FIFA. He should clarify if he has participated in some meetings of this project that I know he has.

“The president of FIFA should clarify if any of these meetings have given explicit support to this type of project. He must also clarify whether the name that appears in code W01 in the documents that have been distributed by those who would be in these projects refers to (Infantino) as everyone believes, not just me. This whole situation must be clarified and he as president how FIFA be very clear what is the position of FIFA.”
