The latest transfer rumors from around the footballing world, including Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, and much more.

Sancho out, Haaland in? Solskjaer decides…

Manchester United pushed hard to sign Jadon Sancho last summer. Borussia Dortmund’s asking price of €120m, however, forced them to raise the white flag. And while they hope a cheaper deal is possible for the 20-year-old next summer, a change of plan has occurred at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils believe they ‘dodged a bullet’ by not signing Sancho on a big-money deal. Their interest has apparently cooled, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in favor of signing the winger’s Dortmund teammate Haaland instead. [Mirror]

Eriksen offered to Madrid giants

Christian Eriksen’s Italian dream has long since gone to smoke. The Dane remains out of favor under Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte, having failed to feature in any of the club’s last three league games.

A January exit could be on the table. The former Tottenham playmaker has been linked with a Premier League return, namely with Arsenal. But Inter have reportedly offered him to Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid instead. [Marca]

A La Liga move appears unlikely, though. Both clubs are dealing with a tough economic period from the COVID-19 pandemic and are allegedly not seeking any reinforcements this winter.

Saliba could end his Arsenal nightmare

William Saliba hasn’t played a minute of first-team football since his summer arrival. The 19-year-old defender appears to be no closer to winning favor with Mikel Arteta, meaning a January exit could be on.

Several clubs, including former side Saint-Etienne and Nice in Ligue 1, are reportedly interested in signing him. [L’Equipe via Sport Witness]

Man United plan to sell Pogba in the summer

Paul Pogba is not expected to sign a new contract. Therefore, Manchester United have decided to grant the Frenchman’s desire to leave by selling him at the end of the season before his existing deal at Old Trafford expires in 2022.

The Red Devils triggered a one-year contract extension in October and now plan to make use of it to reclaim at least some of the €105m they spent on re-signing Pogba in 2016 for a then-world record transfer fee. [Sunday Mirror]

Tomori could swap Chelsea for Newcastle

Fikayo Tomori has fallen out of favor at Chelsea, having made just one Premier League appearance this season, and could leave the club in January in search of regular football.

One possible destination is Newcastle United. The club’s manager Steve Bruce is keen on a loan deal for Tomori to strengthen his defense. Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury is also on Bruce’s radar. [Mail on Sunday]

Diallo‘s move to Man United nearly complete

Back to Manchester United again, and it appears Amad Diallo could finally become a Red Devil. The 18-year-old winger has the paperwork to complete his transfer, despite Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini wanting him to stay on loan. [Fabrizio Romano]
