Chelsea plot fresh offer for Chiesa

The Blues reportedly plan to make a second transfer offer for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

Chelsea had a €100 million offer for the Italy international turned down last summer. Juventus had no interest in a sale and recently paid Fiorentina a further €7m as part of Chiesa’s loan deal. In June 2022, they will pay a final €40m fee to sign the 23-year-old on a permanent basis. [Calciomercato – in Italian]

Barcelona plot a move for ‘New Pedri’

The Catalan giants eye a second transfer coup from Las Palmas in 17-year-old attacking midfielder Alberto Moleiro.

Moleiro has impressed in the Canary Islands, prompting interest from clubs across Europe. Barcelona, who signed Pedri from the same club last year, have sent a scout to watch the teenager. [Sport – in Spanish]

Leno on Inter Milan’s list of targets

Inter Milan have listed Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno as a potential transfer target.

The Serie A champions seek a successor to their first-choice keeper, Samir Handanovic. At 37, the Slovenian’s days are numbered. He is set to leave as a free agent next summer when his contract expires.

Leno, who has lost his spot as Arsenal’s No.1, is on Inter’s radar, as is Ajax’s Andre Onana. [Fichajes – in Spanish]

Kulusevski to join Tottenham?

Tottenham have eyes on a surprise move for Juventus attacking midfielder Dejan Kulusevski.

Spurs’ director of football Fabio Paratici is keen on a reunion with Kulusevski in London. Incidentally, he played a key role in luring the Sweden international to Juventus in the first place. [Mirror]

Sevilla name their asking price for Arsenal target

The Gunners will have to pay at least €45 million (£38.5m) to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

 Arsenal have already made an inquiry to Sevilla for more information on En-Nesyri. The club’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has kept tabs on the 24-year-old for a while, as Lacazette is in the final year of his contract.

Since a €20 million move from Leganes in January 2020, En-Nesyri has done a decent job at Sevilla. The Moroccan has scored 32 goals in 84 appearances across all competitions. [Mundo Deportivo – in Spanish]
