Chelsea eye £50m transfer swoop for Lewandowski
The Blues appear to have raised the white flag in their attempts to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. Therefore, Robert Lewandowski is next up on the transfer list.
Bayern Munich want to extend Lewandowski’s contract, with his current deal to expire in 2023. But the 32-year-old would ‘relish’ trying his luck out in the Premier League. He wants new experiences before his career ends, prompting Chelsea to revive their interest.

Man United ‘offered’ Real Madrid star Vinicius
Real Madrid have allegedly ‘offered’ Manchester United a chance to sign Vinicius Junior.
The Spanish club’s president Florentino Perez needs to raise funds to make a move for his top summer target Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman is under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2022.
Signing Vinicius on loan with an option to buy him next summer could be United’s most likely move. The Red Devils are interested but are not prepared to match Real Madrid’s £68.5 million asking price. [Mirror]
Barcelona name their price for Braithwaite
The Blaugrana have slapped a €15 million (£12.9m) price tag on Martin Braithwaite amid interest from the Premier League.
Brighton could use the cash from Ben White’s potential sale to Arsenal to make an offer. Braithwaite, though, isn’t so keen on the club. The 30-year-old Dane would prefer West Ham or Wolves instead. [Diario Sport]
