Beckham makes a move for Messi

David Beckham has reportedly held transfer talks with Lionel Messi about joining Inter Miami in the MLS in 2023.

The former Barcelona man has only just joined Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year contract, which includes an option to extend the agreement by another 12 months.

But Messi was in Miami recently buying up six luxury penthouse apartments. This didn’t go unnoticed by Beckham. The Inter Miami owner quickly acted and approached Messi over a move to the US in 2023. He is also keeping tabs on Cristiano Ronaldo. [Mirror]

Bernardo Silva is on AC Milan’s radar

AC Milan hope to sign Bernardo Silva from Manchester City in a deal worth around £45 million.

Bernardo is prepared to leave Manchester as competition for places in the team grows more intense. A move to Atletico Madrid was expected, but talks have collapsed between the Spanish champions and City. Therefore, AC Milan have thrown their hat in the ring.

The Rossoneri want to sign Bernardo on a two-year loan deal worth £15m before making the Portugal international’s stay a permanent one by paying City £30m in 2023. [Star on Sunday]

Tottenham turn down Ndombele swap deal

Bayern Munich’s offer of Corentin Tolisso in exchange for Tanguy Ndombele has fallen on deaf ears.

Despite Ndombele making himself available for a summer transfer, Tottenham are in no rush to sell. The Lilywhites have turned down Tolisso and appear ready to play the waiting game.

Kolasinac to join former Arsenal teammate Ozil in Turkey

After signing Mesut Ozil in January, Fenerbahce have approached Arsenal again for Sead Kolasinac this time.

The two clubs remain locked in negotiations, but they’ve yet to reach a suitable agreement. But as Kolasinac is out of contract next summer and has no part in Mikel Arteta’s plans, a transfer is expected. Ozil has also given Fenerbahce a positive reference of his friend.

Manchester City eye wantaway Barcelona midfielder

The Premier League champions are keen on signing Ilaix Moriba.

While regarded as one of Barcelona’s biggest prodigies, Moriba has refused to sign a new contract. This has caused the 18-year-old midfielder to slip down the pecking order at Camp Nou.
