It’s official, PSG finally announced the signing of their biggest crown jewel to date. He is coming from FC Barcelona and will wear the #30.

After so much drama in Barcelona that will probably never end, PSG finally announced their crown jewel. Ever since Qatar bought the French giants, they have signed some of the biggest names in the game. Players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Beckham, or Neymar are amongst a massive constellation of stars. But none will ever be as bright as the one they presented today: Lionel Andres Messi Cuccitini. Coming fresh out of a dramatic exit from FC Barcelona, Leo finally made it happen. He is wearing another kit and he doesn’t look that bad, to be honest.

Paris Saint-Germain made the announcement with a spectacular video that was possibly filmed with a drone. A continuous take that ended with a close-up of Messi standing in the middle of Parc des Prince while wearing his new kit. Upon his arrival, Leo comes with full support from two of his Argentina teammates, Neymar, and Mauricio Pochettino to make him feel as comfortable as possible. We initially saw the first leaked images of Messi wearing his kit but we didn’t imagine what was coming. Apparently, PSG was in a rush to present their biggest signing to date. And probably, ever.

Messi immediately takes a dig at FC Barcelona.

On his presentation with the club’s communication team, Lionel Messi offered his first words as a new club player. We have to say that the French giants may have just completed the single most impressive transfer window in football history. They only spent €60 million on Hakimi, Wijnaldum, Ramos, Donnarumma, and now Messi. Although they will spend quite a bit in salaries, this is still impressive for any club.

As per PSG’s official website, this is what Leo said in his presentation: “I am excited to begin a new chapter of my career at Paris Saint-Germain. Everything about the club matches my football ambitions. I know how talented the squad and the coaching staff are here. I am determined to help build something special for the club and the fans, and I am looking forward to stepping out onto the pitch at the Parc des Princes.”
