Due to his most recent results at the club, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted to hail one of Manchester United’s veterans earlier today.

Manchester United seems to have finally found the ideal mentor to all the younger players in this veteran, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Edinson Cavani finished a beautiful stage of his career at Paris Saint-Germain but he was always certain he would go to another great club after this. The Uruguay international has been one of the most consistent strikers in the world for the better part of the last decade.

In fact, he ended his tenure at PSG as the club’s all-time top goal-scorer. When the Red Devils presented him with the opportunity to wear the number ‘7’ jersey, he didn’t hesitate to take on the daunting challenge. Edinson Cavani was born to live under pressure and he is handling it well at United. After yesterday’s victory at Fulham with one of his goals, the gaffer spoke to the press about his massive influence on the rest of his teammates.

Ole loves Cavani’s experience in the squad.

There was never any doubt about Edinson Cavani’s capabilities, he is one of the top strikers in the world after all. However, there were doubts about his adaptation period as a Red Devil. But all that seems in the past now. “He’s a center-forward that you want in the box. His movement is incredible, it’s for everyone to learn from,” the United boss said via Sky Sports.

“It’s almost like I get frustrated at times when he goes wide to put the crosses in because he’s the one that you want in there and sometimes I have to ask him to do less running but even in the second half, the header was a great save by Areola. He’s come down the side a few times and his movement is spot on, so he’s the type of center-forward that we’ve been looking for and he complements Marcus (Rashford) and Mason (Greenwood), and Anthony (Martial) really.”
