Leicester City resume their Europa League campaign with a last-32 tie against Slavia Prague on Thursday night.

Sinobo stadium is the venue for what is expected to be an interesting game.

On paper, Leicester might be ‘favorites’ but it’s far from a straightforward affair.

Slavia Prague are in superb form and are unbeaten in 18 out of their last 19 games in all competitions. In fact, the Czech giants are unbeaten domestically, winning 16 and drawing the remaining three from their 19 games played. Their only defeats this season have come in the Europa League.

Leicester City are on a similar form as well, losing just one out of their last 14 games.

The Foxes have produced some standout performances this year, including a recent 3-1 victory over Liverpool.

Leicester might be favorites, once again, but they have it all to do against a Slavia Prague side that are unbeaten at home this term.

Slavia Prague Form and Stats

Slavia Prague’s only defeats this season have been in Europe, with three losses in 27 games coming in UEFA Champions League qualifying and the Europa League.

Victories over Bayer Leverkusen, Nice, and Hapoel Beer Sheva at home in the group stages means they have now won 12 out of 14 home games in all competitions this season.

They qualified for the knockout stages as runners-up to Leverkusen, the only team to beat them in the last 19 matches.

Slavia have scored at least three goals in their last six games with forwards Jan Kuchta and Abdallah Dipo Sima both notching 11 league goals this season.

The problem has been at the other end, with Slavia keeping just two clean sheets in their last six matches. One of those did come in the 3-0 weekend win over FK Pardubice.

Key Team Stats
  • Slavia Prague are unbeaten in 18 of their last 19 matches (all competitions).
  • Slavia Prague have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 7 matches (all competitions).
  • Slavia Prague won all 3 home matches in the group stage (Europa League).

Leicester City Form and Stats

Leicester are in fine form and come off the back of a significant 3-1 win over champions Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have suffered just one defeat in their last 14 games. That came in a 3-1 slip-up at home to Leeds in January.

Although they finished as group winners, Leicester’s away form in the Europa League may be a slight cause for concern.

At home, they were prolific in winning all three games to nil. However, a 1-0 defeat to Ukrainian outfit Zorya combined with a late comeback in a 3-3 draw with Braga illustrates their away frailties.

Key Team Stats
  • Leicester are unbeaten in 13 of their last 14 matches (all competitions).
  • Leicester won 1 of 3 away matches in the group stage (Europa League).
  • Leicester have seen BTTS in 2 of their last 3 away matches (Europa League).
  • Leicester scored 14 goals in their 6 group stage matches (Europa League).
