Nothing appears to be able to slow down the Juventus ace, prompting an Italian legend to make a bold prediction on his future.

Antonio Di Natale reckons Cristiano Ronaldo has proven himself as an exceptional player in the Serie A and will still be a goal machine at the age of 40.

The 35-year-old has enjoyed another brilliant start to the season, having scored eight goals in just six league appearances. Saturday’s derby win over Torino, in fact, was the first time he hadn’t scored.

Two more goals have also followed in the Champions League, taking Ronaldo’s overall tally to a stunning 10 goals in nine matches across all competitions.

And even a famous goalscoring legend in Di Natale, who scored 209 goals in 445 Serie A games, can’t help but marvel at Ronaldo’s brilliance and he doesn’t think it’ll end anytime soon either.

”In Italy, he’s [Ronaldo] confirming what he did at Real Madrid and in the Premier League and everywhere he has been,” the former Udinese striker told Marca.

“He guarantees 30 to 35 goals per season.

“He trains hard, he improves, and he makes the difference. Even when he is 40 years of age, he’ll continue to score so many goals.”

Ronaldo became the fourth footballer in history to score 750 career goals last week and was awarded a special jersey by Juventus to honor his achievement on Saturday.

The Serie A’s MVP of November is now preparing for Tuesday’s trip to Camp Nou for a Champions League showdown with Barcelona.
