Arsenal full-back Nuno Tavares could become a transfer target for Manchester City.
The Premier League leaders have watched the 21-year-old’s impressive start at the Emirates, following a €8 million summer move from Benfica. They’re unlikely to make a bid in January. However, due to a growing need for a new left-back, City plan to keep tabs on Tavares.
Right now, Oleksandr Zinchenko is the only recognized left-back at the Etihad. Benjamin Mendy is suspended, although Joao Cancelo has proven he can perform in the role with distinction. [ESPN]
