After falling out of favor at Old Trafford this season, Anthony Martial is open to moving to another club next month.

Anthony Martial wishes to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, says his agent Philippe Lamboley.

The former Monaco forward has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, as well as Edinson Cavani opting to stay for another season.

Martial has made just seven appearances in the Premier League this term, including two starts. Therefore, he intends to find a new club that can grant him regular football next month.

“Anthony wishes to leave the club in January,” Lamboley told Sky Sports about the 26-year-old.

“He just needs to play. He doesn’t want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon.”

Martial, who has at least three years left on his contract, has made a further two appearances in the Champions League and one in the EFL Cup, bringing his total number of games for the season up to 10.

United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has said it is ‘too early’ to discuss transfers during a press conference on Friday.

The Red Devils take on Norwich City on Saturday at Carrow Road for their latest Premier League match.
