Could Dybala replace Messi at Barcelona?

Either Joan Laporta, Victor Font, or Toni Freixa will become the new Barcelona president on March 7. The three candidates all have ambitious transfer plans, but it seems Laporta may have a wild card option up his sleeve in Paulo Dybala.

The Juventus star, whose contract expires next year, is allegedly open to a summer move. And as Lionel Messi’s future is in doubt, Laporta has made contact with Dybala’s agent to possibly replace the Barcelona captain. [Diario Gol]

Manchester United find a cheaper alternative to Kounde

Sevilla’s Jules Kounde may be the preferred transfer target, but Pau Torres is a more affordable option for Manchester United. The Villarreal center-back has a buyout clause of around £43m, which is about as far as the club can spend up to. [Eurosport]

Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier and Norwich City’s Max Aarons are also of interest as new full-back options. A summer move, however, appears unlikely.

Liverpool target Real Madrid stars Varane & Rodrygo

Jurgen Klopp is monitoring Raphael Varane’s situation. The Reds boss is aware Florentino Perez may sell the center-back to ease Real Madrid’s financial burden, especially as his contract expires next year. Varane is open to the idea of a transfer for a new experience. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain also remain interested. [Diario Gol]

Kane makes a decision on his Tottenham future

Harry Kane has been in superb form under Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, with 13 goals and 11 assists in only 22 Premier League games. His performances have naturally raised interest across Europe. Lacazette to swap Arsenal for Monaco?

A decision beckons on Alexandre Lacazette’s future. The striker will be out of contract next year and talks over a renewal appear to have made little progress. Therefore, Arsenal have a decision to make – sell him this summer or risk losing him for free in 2022.
