Barcelona name their price for Coutinho

The Catalan giants would accept transfer offers of around €20 million for Philippe Coutinho.

Tottenham want to sign the Brazilian playmaker for free. However, as Coutinho is under contract until June 2023, Barcelona hope to sell rather than lose him for nothing.

Reports have claimed Spurs’ fellow Premier League sides Arsenal and Everton could be interested in a deal for Coutinho as well. [El Nacional – in Catalan]

Manchester United ready to pay Alvarez’s release clause

The Red Devils are prepared to pay a €20 million release in Julian Alvarez’s contract at River Plate to sign the striker.

Despite interest from Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan, United have steered clear as favorites. Alvarez’s agent, Fernando Hidalgo, will hold talks in England with the club this week.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning a transfer move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

Los Blancos have their sights set on a sensational double swoop in strikers Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland this summer.

AS Monaco have shortlisted former RB Leipzig boss Jesse Marsch as a potential candidate to become their next manager.

After sacking Niko Kovac on Thursday, Monaco have begun a long search for a replacement. The club’s sporting director, Paul Mitchell, is leading the search.

Aubameyang wanted back at Saint-Etienne

Saint-Etienne midfielder Bakary Sako is trying to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to return to the Geoffroy Stadium.

The Gabonese forward, who played for the Ligue 1 club between 2011 and 2013, is out of favor at Arsenal after losing the club’s captaincy.

Sako said: “I am trying to attract him, wouldn’t you like to see Aubameyang back at Saint-Etienne? We all feel the same. I am very serious when I tell him to come, even if it is in a joking tone. I don’t know if it is possible, but I hope he will respond favorably.”
