The Liverpool players are competing in AFCON for their respective national teams in Cameroon.
Sadio Mane has sent a ‘special message’ to Liverpool teammates Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita.
The Reds trio will begin their Africa Cup of Nations campaigns this week. Mane and Keita start on Monday, with Senegal and Guinea respectively. Salah will make his bow a day later on Tuesday for Egypt.
Now Mane has sent a video message on social media to his Liverpool teammates, where he cheekily suggested Senegal will reach the final and expressed his regret they cannot play both Salah’s Egypt and Keita’s Guinea in the showpiece.

“Unfortunately, I cannot play against two teams in the final so I have to play one. I want to say good luck to all of you, take care guys.”
The three Liverpool players are chasing a first AFCON title with their respective national teams in Cameroon.
Mane’s Senegal kick off Tuesday’s action by facing Zimbabwe in their Group B opener. Keita’s Guinea, who are also in Group B, face Malawi on the same day.
As for Salah, the Egypt captain is expected to start in the Pharaohs’ Group D opener against Nigeria on Tuesday.
