Mesut Ozil might finally be on his way out of Arsenal after reports claim he has agreed a deal with a side in Europe.

Mesut Ozil looks set to finally turn his back on Arsenal and leave the Emirates Stadium. The latest reports claim he is signing for Fenerbahce.

According to Turkish outlet NTVSpo, a deal has been agreed upon between the club and the German midfielder.

The report claims that Ozil has already agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Turkish outfit.

And it now appears that the 32-year-old’s Arsenal career will come to a sad end imminently.

Since the start of the season, Ozil has more or less become an outcast at the club.

He was not included in the Gunners’ Premier League squad or their Europa League one.

There were hopes that Ozil could be restored into the Gunners lineup for the second half of the season.

However, the playmaker’s 2021 looks set to be spent away from north London.

Arsenal have been seeking a solution to offload Ozil for some time, and it now seems Turkish giants Fenerbahce will provide him with an escape route.

His huge salary at the Emirates has proved problematic in landing him a new team.

DC United have also been linked as a potential option in the January transfer market, with a lucrative switch to the MLS touted.
