Rumor: Barcelona to make new bid for Lautaro Martinez

As per a report, Barcelona are ready to renew their interest in Inter’s Lautaro Martinez. A new offer for the striker is being prepared.

Barcelona are once again ready to go all out for Lautaro Martinez.

The Catalan giants have been linked with the Inter man for months. However, both clubs have failed to agree on a valuation for the player.

The Nerazzurri have publicly stated that only a fee of €111m (his release clause) will allow them consider selling Martinez.

Barca tried and reportedly even offered players plus cash to reduce Inter’s asking price. After no breakthrough for months, the Catalan side appeared to give up on their pursuit of the 22-year-old. But, the deal might be on again.

According to TyC Sports in Argentina, Barca are ready to push for Martinez again. His agents are even in Spain to discuss a new offer.

Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate are currently in Barcelona for negotiations.

They will take the details of the latest proposal and pass them on to both Inter and the 23-year-old striker.

Martinez a release clause in his contract worth €111m but it appears it has expired for this year.

Luis Suarez is looking more than likely to leave the club and the Inter man could come in as an ideal replacement.

Lionel Messi has severally welcomed the idea of playing alongside Martinez at Barcelona.
