As per a report from France, Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar will prefer a move to Juventus more than any other club this summer.
Houssem Aouar is in high demand this summer. The Frenchman is attracting interest from Europe’s finest after his displays on the continent.
Lyon had a brilliant run in the Champions League that came to a halt when they faced Bayern Munich in the semis.
Prior to their exit, Aouar was a key figure in Lyon’s progress and he got positive raves from all over the place.
The likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Juventus are all showing interest in the midfielder.
Rumor even has it the Gunners had a bid ignored for the 22-year-old.
Lyon sporting director Juninho did confirm days ago that Aouar would be allowed to leave for the right price.
Les Gones will play no European football next season and it could impact their finances dearly. Hence, they are happy to cash in on some players this summer.
According to French outlet Le10sport, Aouar will prefer joining Juventus over all other interested parties.
The asking price for the player is quoted as over €50m. It only increased after the midfielder shone on the continental front.
Should that report be true, it would be left to Juventus to match the asking price of Lyon. That is if at all the Serie A champions are even interested in Aouar.
Aouar contributed nine goals and 10 assists in 41 competitive games during the 2019-20 season.
