The most awaited deal for Manchester United is about to be cracked, and legend Wayne Rooney shared his opinion about Jadon Sancho.
Wayne Rooney added his words on the forthcoming Jadon Sancho signing for Manchester United. In fact, according to him, the Red Devils have made an intelligent signing to bring the England international back on home soil.
As it stands, the 21-year-old will make a £73 million move to Old Trafford from German giants Borussia Dortmund. It is only a matter of time now and Sancho will become a creative addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Thus it will end the long-awaited transfer saga which has been going on for months. And Rooney, who is United’s all-time top goalscorer, believes that Sancho will prosper at the club.
He said on Sky Sports: “He scores goals, creates goals, so I think it’s a very good signing. I think there will be a lot of pressure, which there should be with Manchester United.”
“Sancho coming in, they are rumoured to be in for a few more players.”
“They are in a period now where the fans will be wanting success, silverware. And Ole and his coaching staff will be under pressure to deliver that.”
