Cristiano Ronaldo set tongues wagging in his latest social media post and dropped a cryptic message.
‘Decision Day’ was the message Cristiano Ronaldo had for his 315 million Instagram followers.
The Portuguese ace posted this message, along with a picture of himself alongside a parked Rolls-Royce, on Sunday to leave fans wondering amid transfer rumors over his future.
The latest reports in the Italian media claim Ronaldo will return to Juventus for this season. He only has a year left on his contract with the club and hasn’t announced his plans for 2022 yet.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo will return for pre-season on July 25. The star has no interest in a summer exit despite links to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain. His agent, Jorge Mendes, is expected to hold talks with Juve over a potential one-year contract extension, which may include a 50% pay cut.
“Cristiano is on holiday,” said vice-president Pavel Nedved last week.
“We have no signal from his entourage that he wants to leave. We’re waiting for him and he will return around 25 July as scheduled.”
