Cristiano Ronaldo’s camp has rubbished recent talks linking the Juventus superstar with a blockbuster move to Barcelona.

Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018 and has gone on to win back-to-back Serie A titles and achieve the Serie A Most Valuable Player award in 2018/19.

Indeed, contracted to Andrea Pirlo’s side until 2022, the 35-year-old has spent the last two seasons helping the ‘Bianconeri’ maintain their domestic dominance.

However, a lack of Champions League success has led to speculations about the Portuguese’s potential departure from the Allianz Stadium.

Some recent reports have even suggested that perennial Italian champions are keen to get Ronaldo’s £28million-per-year salary off the books.

Juventus have reportedly offered their standout performer to several top European clubs, including Barcelona.

Ronaldo, who had previously defended the white of Real Madrid, spent nine years spearheading Los Blancos in their never-ending battle with arch-rivals.

Therefore, the Portugal captain has no intention of linking up with the Catalans, as that could be an epic betrayal to everything he did at the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to the Spanish outlet AS, rumors naming Barcelona as Ronaldo’s next destination have prompted his representatives to deny such claims.

Paris Saint-Germain had also emerged as the rumored destination earlier in the summer before Cristiano quickly played down his intent to leave Turin.
