During a press conference for Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t shy away from responding questions about his future at Juventus.

There are rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo possibly leaving Juventus this summer with Manchester United or PSG as possible destinations. Contrary to previous years, the Portugal legend doesn’t think these rumors affect his level of performance at the Euros. Maybe in the past, his future was something that worried him. However, he is 36 years of age and he can already control any type of pressure that comes at him.

When he was questioned about this topic, it was clear he didn’t like the journalist’s intention. But Ronaldo is a veteran now, he knows how to deal with these issues without avoiding an answer. In fact, Cristiano was quite polite with his response and he even left the door open for speculation. The truth is that we won’t know what Cristiano will do until Portugal stops playing the European Championship this summer.

Ronaldo’s brilliant response about his future.

When asked about the rumors affecting his game, Marca picked up the following Cristiano Ronalo response: “I’ve been playing at the highest level for 18 years, that doesn’t even bother me. Whatever happens, it will be for the best. Regardless of whether I stay [at Juventus] or leave, that’s not the most important thing at the moment. I’m focused on my national team, because you don’t play a competition of this magnitude every day. It’s my fifth European Championship, but in my mind it’s as if it’s my first.

“We are a younger team than in 2016. Only the competition will tell if we are better or worse than in 2016. On a personal level, I’m not the same player that I was ten years ago. The players who last the longest in football are the ones who are best able to adapt to the changing circumstances. I have evolved from the age of 18 to 36. I’ve adapted well over the years.”
