During an interview with Football Insider, Paul Robinson revealed that a certain Bundesliga star completely fits into the Liverpool philosophy.

We’ve all thought about this Bundesliga star possibly playing at a club such as Liverpool. The Reds have recently earned the status of a team that attracts only the best players in the world. Over the last decade, we had other clubs such as Real Madrid or FC Barcelona getting all the greatest talents.

But Jurgen Klopp’s squad has done tremendous things in Europe that place them above any other clubs in recent years. That’s the reason many of the club’s former players are confident in attracting some of the best talents in the world right now. One of those stars is Erling Haaland, who currently destroys the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich’s only opposition.

Even before he arrived in Germany, there was a lot of speculation about Haaland’s chances to play in the Premier League. For those who don’t know, let us reveal to you that the Norway international was born in Leeds. As a player born in England, going to the Premier League is easier because he is still considered a local. However, there are some who think that Liverpool is the only place he would go.

Between England, Spain, and Germany.

Erling Haaland is the type of player who will only end up at one of the biggest clubs in football history. There’s no other way to look at his future. We will always have that fear of Bayern Munich attempting to take him from Dortmund in order to become Lewandowski’s heir. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will also remain as options for him. However, legendary Paul Robinson thinks Liverpool should be his next destination.

“One day we will see Erling Haaland in the Premier League,” he told Football Insider. “Without a shadow of a doubt. I would love it to be at Leeds where he grew up watching his Dad play! I think Dortmund was a stepping stone before a move to the Premier League. We will see him in England and anybody given the opportunity to sign him would take that up.

“He would make himself fit into Liverpool’s starting eleven. A player of his quality and his ability starts wherever he goes but there will be a number of suitors for him. Whether it be Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool or any other top-six club in the Premier League. If Dortmund where to sell him there would see quite a few takers.”
