According to a new report, Zlatan Ibrahimovic finally reached a new deal with AC Milan. But we are all wondering how long it is.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic appears to have done it again, he reportedly reached an agreement to sign a new deal as one of AC Milan’s stars. The Swedish striker came back from the MLS thinking he could go back to the same level of performance he had before his injury. Very few players in football history can say they returned from an ACL issue with no problems, Zlatan is definitely one of them. After only a season at AC Milan, he made the decision to remain active for one more season.

Paolo Maldini wanted to convince him to stay at the club some more time and keep performing at the high level he has during this campaign. Although he hasn´t been able to help the Rossoneri win any silverware this year, Zlatan did something more important. He brought back AC Milan to a competitive spirit they lost for nearly a decade. With his leadership and performances, Stefano Pioli’s men are currently second in the Serie A table.

When will Zlatan retire?

Currently at 39 years of age, Zlatan Ibrahimovic still seems like he can play for another couple of seasons. Remember he was the man who won his current club’s most recent Serie A title before Juventus took over the competition for the next decade. As a veteran, he will attempt to win the trophy once again before he decides to hang up his boots.

Throughout his career, Zlatan was able to win several consecutive league titles across many different leagues in Europe. You could say his favorite competition is the league from any country. If he gets to retire as a Serie A champion, Zlatan will feel enormous satisfaction when the time comes. Fabrizio Romano reported that Ibra reached the agreement today and AC Milan will make it official over the next hours. We have Zlatan for one more season.
