It finally happened, there are multiple reports of Manchester United finally sealing the deal on one of the biggest young stars around.

Manchester United pretty much sealed the deal on arguably the most important transfer since Paul Pogba arrived. We are obviously talking about Jadon Sancho, a player they have pursued for over a year from Borussia Dortmund. This signing comes with double the benefit as we are talking about a Manchester City academy player who wasn’t treated very well there. Sancho must have an urge to prove himself in his home country after being rejected for his debut season.

He decided to play in the Bundesliga for a club that always gave young players their opportunity to play despite their age. Borussia Dortmund was the ideal place for him to grow and he did at an alarming pace. Since he started playing professionally, Sancho has delivered incredible numbers that can only be attributed to elite players. Hence the Manchester United massive interest for the last year and a half. After a lot of tough negotiating, the player’s family finally agreed to terms alongside the German club.

How much will Sancho cost?

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils will pay €90 million-plus more money on add-ons if he meets certain criteria by the end of his first season. The squad had no players who could perform on the right flank besides Marcus Rashford. But more importantly, Sancho is exactly the elite-level player they needed in order to take that quality leap.

With both clubs still pending an official announcement, this is completely a done deal for Jadon Sancho. He will become a Red Devil right after he finishes his European Championship adventure. Now that he left Borussia Dortmund, it will be interesting to see what Erling Haaland does with his future without one of his best companions on the team. We will obviously keep you updated on any official announcements and his eventual presentation as a new Manchester United player.
