According to reports coming from Spain, Kylian Mbappe really disliked Nasser Al- Khelaifi’s statement about him never leaving PSG.

Kylian Mbappe’s plans to leave PSG slowed down after Nasser Al-Khelaifi expressed his intentions of blocking his exit. It’s not like the rest of the world didn’t know this would happen, it goes directly in line with the behavior the chairman has shown over the years. But Mbappe truly fell for the promises back in 2017, when he was only starting his professional career. For some dumb reason, Nasser thinks the Ligue 1 on the same level as the most competitive leagues in the world.

He thinks that money can fix these issues but he fails to understand a fundamental aspect of this situation. The greatest players only want to play for the greatest clubs and PSG is certainly not one of them. They might be one of the most powerful right now, but prestige is something money can’t buy. As long as he doesn’t understand this, he will continue to live inside his own fantasy land that each day resembles modern slavery. His most recent statement where he confirms PSG has no intentions of selling Mbappe were a gut punch for the player. It has been reported that he hasn’t responded well to Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s words, which he considers a threat.

Mbappe’s response to Al-Khelaifi.

La Sexta reported that Mbappe felt very uncomfortable after reading Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s statements on L’Equipe. Today, he was questioned about his future. He specifically responded to a question about Bayern Munich as a possible destination for him. This is what Mbappe responded: “Lucas Hernandez told me I should go to Bayern Munich. But you never know what can happen in football. I am happy as I am right now.” Even if Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to deny it, the reality is that he is making Mbappe unhappy.

The PSG chairman usually makes these statements when he is applying pressure to players who still haven’t renewed their contracts. But everything points towards things not working as they usually work for Al-Khelaifi, who will probably have to sell Mbappe this summer. Real Madrid is not the only interested club in the youngster’s services. Other institutions such as Liverpool or even FC Barcelona would like to sign this young star. It is definitely true that Mbappe doesn’t want to spend his best years as a PSG player.
