Antonio Conte has quickly set his mind to further strengthening his squad after guiding the team to Serie A success.

Inter Milan’s 11-year-long league title drought finally came to an end when they were crowned as the 2020/21 champions following Atalanta’s failure to win against Sassuolo on Sunday.

Antonio Conte started Juventus’ dominance in Serie A and he himself ended their run of nine successive Scudetto.

Inter’s success has been very much influenced by Conte, but the manager has conditions to renew his contract with the club beyond June 2022.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, the Italian manager wants confirmation that none of his top players – the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Romelu Lukaku, and Achraf Hakimi – would be sold. Furthermore, he wants four new signings – a goalkeeper, left-winger, striker, and a central midfielder.

Udinese’s Juan Musso and Hellas Verona’s Marco Silvestri are the shot-stoppers on Inter’s shortlist, with the latter being the “easiest target to sign.”

As for bolstering the left-flank, they are targeting Chelsea pair Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmeri and Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.

The newly-crowned Serie A champions could bring in Edin Dzeko as a cover for Lukaku, although it is possible that could opt for a younger option.
