According to a report from Marca, one of Inter Milan’s biggest players made the decision to leave next summer after changing his agent.

Inter Milan cannot afford to let some of their best players leave, they have very few world-class footballers to have that luxury. Perhaps their best player is Lautaro Martinez, a striker who has been trying to leave for some time now. FC Barcelona is one of the clubs that attempted to sign him in order to make him Luis Suarez’s replacement.

However, the player’s agents couldn’t close the deal and made Lautaro quite angry about it. In fact, Marca reports that the striker added a third agent to his already existing team. He currently has Beto Yaque and Rolando Zarate as his representation. They will both continue to represent him in the future, but they are getting help from the big guns.

Lautaro Martinez decided to hire Gestifute, a representation company owned by Jorge Mendes himself. Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho’s agent is now tasked with getting Lautaro a new club as soon as next season.

Spain calls for Lautaro Martinez.

Suddenly, this decision makes Lautaro Martinez’s options open for exciting opportunities in many great clubs throughout Europe. For starters, clubs like Wolverhampton Wanderers or Tottenham Hotspur are practically owned by Jorge Mendes.

Lautaro could easily go to any of those institutions in order to continue his career. But we all know where the striker’s aim is pointing. The Spanish La Liga is arguably the place where he wants to continue his professional career after he leaves Inter Milan.

We still have no idea if Mendes will attempt to make him a new Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Atletico Madrid player. All we know is that Martinez loves Spain and the players that still remain to this day. It should be interesting to watch where he ends up. Lautaro has a choice to make before the end of next summer.
