According to a recent report coming from the English press, Pep Guardiola’s next target is an England International he’s been following.

Pep Guardiola has his sight set on a specific England International for the upcoming transfer window they can sign him. Initially, Manchester City’s board wasn’t certain if this was the player they could spend some serious money by next season. But in Guardiola’s eyes, he’s always been one of the most exciting talents in the country.

Now that he’s been getting better results and more attention on the international front, it appears Guardiola’s bosses finally came around. The Mirror reported that Grealish just became the Citizens’ biggest target for the upcoming transfer window as a specific request from the gaffer himself. If they wanted to come after him during the winter transfer window. Jack would be a welcome addition to the UEFA Champions League run in which Guardiola’s players are looking to impress.

It’s about time we mentioned some of the details of this possible transfer and how it would happen when it does. Even though there are other clubs interested in signing Grealish, Man City are the ones who will go all out for the player.

Manchester City players approve Jack’s arrival.

We can’t forget last summer’s failed attempts from Manchester United’s board to sign Grealish. The player was at a steep price of €70 million that immediately made Ed Woodward cease and desist on his transfer. A player who recently played in the Championship wasn’t up to United’s standards, yet Guardiola spotted him a while ago.

You see, the Catalan manager has been following Jack’s progression since he was about to promote his club. It’s no secret Pep has been a Grealish fan for some time now, he is the type of offensive midfielder with the talent to build a whole squad around. Those €70 million United refused to pay are a thing of the past now. If Manchester City want to sign Jack, they will have to pay quite a bit more money than that.

Even Guardiola’s players are keen on trying to sign Grealish for the club: “I rate him very highly,” said Kevin de Bruyne to reporters. “He’s somebody I mentioned before, talking to the teammates at City, in a random conversation. In England, they talked about creative problems in midfield, but he brings that to a team. He deserves a shot.”
