Aston Villa will reportedly make a decision about Jack Grealish’s future in the next few days after receiving an official bid from Manchester City.

After months of speculation and rumors, it seems like the Jack Grealish soap opera may be close to an ending. It is no secret that Manchester City is interested in the English star. However, it’s also very well known that Aston Villa isn’t that keen on selling their best player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Villans have offered Grealish a brand new contract. Nevertheless, they continue the negotiations with Manchester City for what could be the biggest transfer deal of the summer. After the Citizens made an official bid, Aston Villa are now seriously considering it. Moreover, the club will provide the English champions with an answer in the next few days.

Jack Grealish has been raising havoc in the Premier League for the last two seasons. In fact, Grealish is considered to be one of the best players in England. The 25-year-old’s playing style would fit well under Pep Guardiola’s ideas, although this transfer won’t be an easy one. The Villans are reportedly asking for around 120 million for the midfielder, a fee that’s not even close to their current record.

Christian Benteke, sold for 45 million in 2016, currently holds the title of most expensive player for the Birmingham side.
