Sources close to Barcelona have reportedly confirmed they have completed a move for the 20-year-old player.
It looks like Barcelona have finally secured their man. Eric Garcia will join the Blaugrana in the summer of 2021 after leaving Manchester City on a free transfer.
Although the deal had been reported before, some doubts arose this Wednesday as PSG were looking to steal the player away from the Spanish side. In fact, according to Mundo Deportivo, Paris Saint-Germain tried to take advantage of Barcelona’s lack of availability to sign the player this January. However, it seems as though they have failed the hijack.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have sealed the deal with Eric Garcia. In fact, he claims he got the information from internal sources which confirmed the player will arrive in Spain in June.
Eric Garcia spent most of his youth years at Barcelona and joined Manchester City when he was 16 years of age for €1.7 million. Four years later, the Blaugrana will receive Garcia back with open arms. In fact, they won’t have to pay a single penny for the player’s signing.
