Florentino Perez and Real Madrid finally got the opportunity to welcome one of their most recent transfers who arrived on deadline day.

Real Madrid can finally brag about having one of the best young players in the world right with Eduardo Camavinga’s arrival. After a lively international break with the youth France squad, the French midfielder was finally presented at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. He went through all the protocols that any newcomer gets when he signs a new contract. This includes the warm welcome from president Florentino Perez. It also includes a picture with him alongside all of the player’s family.

Soon after that, there’s the press conference in which the new arrival responds to questions from members of the press. That was scheduled as part of the presentation but Camavinga was also eager to meet all his new teammates. As soon as he walked on the pitch, everybody made sure he got a warm welcome and made him feel at home. It’s a new chapter in Eduardo Camavinga’s career that will tell us how good he can get as a Real Madrid player. The sky is the limit for a player as talented as he is.

Camavinga’s first words as a Real Madrid player.

As per Real Madrid’s official website, this is what Eduardo Camavinga had to say: “I’m very happy to be here. I’ve dreamt of joining Real Madrid since I was a child. I’m going to try to give everything for this club and for my family. I’ve been happy from the moment I found out I was going to be a Real Madrid player. I’m very proud to be here with my family after everything we’ve been through. I’m here to learn and have to prove that I’m ready.

“I will work hard and try to enjoy some playing time. The first factor is not the money, it’s the joy of fulfilling a dream I’ve had since I was a child to sign for Madrid. I didn’t think twice about coming here and I’m very happy. My family and I thought about what we could do in the future. We really thought it through. I want to play as many minutes as I can get. I’m very happy and perhaps it’s one of the best days of my life, just like when I was called up for France.”
