Carvajal scored a last-minute winner to complete Real Madrid’s sensational comeback.

Real Madrid defeated Almeria 3-2 in their La Liga game on Sunday. A second-half comeback ensured the Blancos’ dramatic victory at Santiago Bernabeu.

What happened?

Almeria stunned their opponents with an early goal as Largie Ramazani found the back of the net in the first minute. Real Madrid pushed hard to get back into the game before the break, but it was Almeria who doubled their lead through Edgar Gonzalez in the 43rd minute.

The hosts looked much better when the second half began, gradually increasing the pressure on Almeria’s backline. Jude Bellingham converted a penalty to make it 2-1 in the 57th minute. It took Real Madrid another ten minutes to find the equalizer through Vinicius Junior.

Real Madrid then shifted their focus toward completing their comeback, dominating the possession in the final ten minutes. Almeria seemed to be on their way to escaping Santiago Bernabeu with a point, but a 99th-minute winner from Dani Carvajal won the game for the hosts. A brilliant header from Bellingham found the defender at the perfect spot before he made it 3-2 with a simple tap-in from close range.
