Rashford explains embarrassment after Liverpool disaster

Following a nightmare with Manchester United last weekend, Marcus Rashford explained the reason for his silence after the Liverpool loss.

Marcus Rashford explained that he was “embarrassed” by Manchester United’s humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend.

In fact, that was the reason why the England international was quiet and did not post anything on social media.

However, Rashford completely understands the effects of this loss on the Red Devils supporters. He also assured that the club will do everything possible to redeem itself.

Manchester United witnessed the hardest defeat at home to Liverpool and also with a margin of five goals since February 1955.

On Thursday, Rashford opened up about the club’s huge defeat on Twitter after having some time to think. This was his first post after Thursday last week.

It is time that the team takes the responsibility upon their shoulders and put effort to improve the situation, with Rashford leading at the forefront.

Up next for Man Utd is a trip to Tottenham on Saturday in the Premier League. The Red Devils are in the seventh position in the league, right behind their upcoming opponents.
