Since his arrival from Arsenal back in 2019, Aaron Ramsey has failed to make an impression at Juventus due to his struggles.
Aaron Ramsey admitted that he has been seeking consistency at Juventus after “a frustrating couple of years”.
The Wales international flew to Turin as a free agent during the summer of 2019 having enjoyed a long 11-year run at Arsenal. As it stands, the 30-year-old has an agreement with Bianconeri until 2023.
Unfortunately for Ramsey, several injuries held him back from showing his true potential in Serie A. Yet again, the Welshman has missed nine matches this season having gone through a similar fate in his debut season.
In addition, due to wild competition at Juventus, he has only appeared for 13 league games under Andrea Pirlo in the current campaign. It appears as if the midfielder wants to make an end to his time at Juve.
Ramsey told FourFourTwo of his time at the club: “It’s been a pretty frustrating couple of years for me. Picking up little injuries and not being able to get back to full fitness.”
“It’s been a strange time in general, which hasn’t helped. Arriving at Juventus with an injury, trying to get my fitness back, then you’re hit by a pandemic and we had to start again.”
“It’s been difficult to get any consistency going, and that’s had an effect on me playing for Wales.”
