Pulisic helped Chelsea continue their superb start under Tuchel during a 2-0 win over Sheffield United in the FA Cup.

Christian Pulisic claims Chelsea are high on confidence and feel like they can beat any club that stands in their way.

A 2-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield United on Sunday sealed a semi-final tie with Manchester City in the competition and extended the club’s unbeaten start under new manager Thomas Tuchel to 14 games in all competitions.

Aside from also keeping 11 clean sheets, Chelsea have progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals and are back in the Premier League top-four.

“We definitely have a confident bunch of guys,” Pulisic said on the club’s website.

“When you go on a streak like this you feel really good. We feel like we can beat anyone, so it’s a good feeling right now.”

A 24th-minute own goal from Ollie Norwood put Chelsea in front against Sheffield United. Hakim Ziyech later added a second goal in injury-time to ensure victory in the FA Cup quarter-final tie.

While Pulisic, who was named man of the match by the BBC, seemed the Blues’ most threatening player in the attack against a robust Sheffield defense.

“They were difficult to break down, they are a good defensive side,” admitted the American winger.

“We had a couple of chances where we could have done a bit better, myself included, but we got our two goals and it was a good result.

“They didn’t make it easy on us. We knew they have quality, and we had to suffer a bit in the second half. But in the end it was a clean sheet and a good performance.”

Chelsea return to action on April 3 for a Premier League match against West Brom at Stamford Bridge.
