PSG were linked with Dele Alli all summer and a report claims the French side have made a decision over their interest in the Spurs star.
PSG will supposedly re-ignite their interest in Dele Alli as they plot a fresh bid in the January transfer window.
The midfielder is out of favor at Tottenham and has been largely pushed to the fringes by manager Jose Mourinho.
Alli has featured eight times for Spurs so far this season but only twice in domestic action. He was last named in a Premier League squad back in October.
Despite regular involvement in Tottenham’s Europa League campaign, the 24-year-old was left on the bench for Thursday’s win over Antwerp. It was more or less a clear indication he is no longer part of Mourinho’s plans. So much that the Spurs boss admitted the player was ‘unhappy’ at the club.
According to the Daily Mail, PSG are now set to make another approach to take Alli on loan when the window re-opens.
Their report adds that the French champions are confident Spurs will agree to let the midfielder go this time around, with the player also keen to reignite his career.
Alli still feels he can put himself into contention for England’s Euro 2021 squad in the summer but knows he needs to be playing week-in, week-out, to stand any chance of a call-up.
It remains to be seen if PSG are looking to include an option-to-buy clause in the deal, or whether it’s a straight loan until the end of the season.
