Diogo Dalot could be counting his last days at Manchester United, with Paris Saint-Germain and Everton looking to secure his services.

Dalot, who ditched Barcelona to join Manchester United in 2018, has failed to establish himself as a regular starter at Old Trafford.

With the Red Devils at a turning point after securing Champions League promotion, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to overhaul his team for next term.

Solskjaer’s idea of building a squad able to compete on multiple fronts also includes offloading some bit-part players, including Dalot.

The Norwegian manager has put the 21-year-old offensive-minded full-back up for sale after the latter struggled for fitness throughout 2019/20.

Indeed, the £19million signing has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford after facing a string of injuries, making just four Premier League appearances.

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka the established first-choice right-back and Timothy Fosu-Mensah climbing the ranks at United, Dalot has been deemed surplus to requirements.

According to Portuguese outlet O Jojo, Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are ready to go head-to-head for Dalot’s signature this summer.

Thomas Meunier’s departure for Borussia Dortmund has freed up space for a new wide defender.

The Portuguese full-back would have to compete with Thilo Kehrer for a place in Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI, as Juan Barnet nailed down the left-back position at the Parc des Princes as his own.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton are not afraid of PSG’s interest in former Porto youngster, as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the new season.

While he would be largely forced to play second fiddle to Lucas Digne at the left-back, Dalot could stake his claim for regular right-back choice.

Indeed, the captain Seamus Coleman has been tormented by several injury setbacks over the past 12 months, which raised some concerns at Goodison Park.
